Whips and Chains

: PCs: MrYoung (+1kp), GarricProudfoot (+2kp), MegRodgers (+1kp), VinicentDLerios (+1kp)

: After returning with the dead Goblin, GarricProudfoot, using his HatOfDisguise makes himself look like a Goblin. He find another way out of the chamber. This requires the characters to all stoop as height of the pasageway is only 3 foot. GarricProudfoot goes first and descovers that the passageway is set up with primtive but effective noise traps made from well placed rocks.

: The rest of the party make too much noise and the two Goblin Guards that are conceled on a shelf above the entrance into the next cave hear them. They throw small javelins at GarricProudfoot but he dodges out of the way. GarricProudfoot throws a knife which kills one and there javelins miss again. The second goblin surrendes. GarricProudfoot says that he will let him live if he acts as a guide to get them past the goblin 's area.

: The Goblin Guide takes them into a large cavern complex with glowing rocks (see GoblinCaves). They come across two well arm ed Goblins that are looting some Dwaven bodies. There is a moment where it looks like there will be a dirty fight, one escapes to the otherside of the steam whilst one is captured. Both groups agree to a parly. It seams that DukeChapo and SonOfChief are on a quest to recapture ZorbinTheBadThing.

: The goblin adventurers tell the party that they are hunting after ZorbinTheBadThing after he got out of his box. They need LubinTheMutant, gobin with two heads and a green skin as he is the only one that can put Zorbin back in the box. It seams that ZorbinTheBadThing is with some Duergar and the dead bodies are also Duergar. The goblins say they did not kill them but found them there. The bodies have lots of small cuts on there bodies and there are some very small foot prints around them. It seams that ZorbinTheBadThing is only 6 inchs tall when he was released by the now dead LainBrotherOfLubin.

: The party agree to help if they will lead them closer to the Cauldren through the Underdark. As they travel GarricProudfoot changes to look like a Duergar.

: The goblins lead the party to the DuergarHold. There are several Duergar guards not going a very good job by a rock bolder baracade. GarricProudfoot sneaks in past them and the wanders around the complex. He finds LubinTheMutant chained by his foot inside a cage in the temple. There are 6 Duergar woman and one man. He leaves the temple and starts to look for a way to get Lubin out. He finds a file in the workshops and returns to the temple.

: GarricProudfoot uses a bone to discuse attempting to get the file to LubinTheMutant. One of the Priestess notices him upto something and comes to investigate. He does not understand the dark togue she uses and she hits him round the head. His HatOfDisguise falls off. She attempts tohit him but he gets outof the way. The rest of the Duergar vanish. GarricProudfoot runs away.

: GarricProudfoot attempt to escape from the complex but comes across a warrior but gets away IIRC.

: The Hold goes on to full alert and starts looking for GarricProudfoot. He hides on top of the temple roof and waits for the Priestess to return to the temple.

: He changes to look like the Priesstess and then trys to sneaks back out to the rest of the group. But unforcantly the Duergar will not let her past the baracade on her own. So he leads the four guards to where the part are.
