Moving the boxes around sets off a trap where the tunnels start to flood with more water. Leaving some of the treasure behind, the party flee back through the tunnels.
Much debate then occurs as to how to smuggle the ring back into New Pavis, eventually it is decided that XingiBulawayo and SnommI will first visit the Zebra pens and then enter the city with the ring whilst the rest of the party will take all of the other money, gems etc (and the magic crystal) back in first.
The Lunar guards inspect the party, tax them and requisition the crystal for inspection. When XingiBulawayo and SnommI enter the city later, the guards inspect them but do not find the ring.
Back inside the city, the party meet up and head to the Temple of Pavis. They get to the temple and ask to speak to FleeterNeem?. He comes to see them in a private antechamber and inspects the ring. He also checks with them that they have found enough treasure to give them the money they need - as they havent he gives them some extra as a bonus.
Pleased with themselves, the party go on a shopping expedition before dropping by the temple of LhankorMhy? to see ScholarJennings. He tells them that he may have a job for them later.
