Most of the party spend the day in service to their respective cults, waiting on news of more work from ScholarJennings. Late that night, there is a knock on the door of the apartments that the Party have rented. It is a messenger from ScholarJennings, asking for their assistance. The party goto the temple straight away and find a somewhat distressed ScholarJennings who tells of a friend of his OldBob?, an ex adventurer who had recently started to talk about again visiting the Rubble and who has not been seen for several days. ScholarJennings is concerned for his friend and asks the party to go look for him along the river past the Zebra bridge.
The party head out into the Rubble at first light. Heading down the river they evetually discover a shield with Orlanthi runes and fresh signs of blood. Following some tracks they lead to a cave entrance on the banks of the river. Entering the cave, they are surprised by 2 Broos whom them quickly kill. Exploring the cave further, they find a concealed entrance that leads further into the hillside. Following the passage, they come to a fork. They take the right hand passage which opens into another chamber where a number of Broos move to attack them.
