Varlak awakes to find himself being snogged by a goat. Other than that very little happens for the next few days as the flock and wagons head south.
The Caravan crosses the border into Sun County. Once the RiverVoices show off their Yelmalio talismans things go quite smoothly at the border post.
Later that day the caravan is accosted by a group of Sable riders. They are bribed with 20 goats and eventualy leave the caravan alone.
The caravan arrives at the Sun Dome. The RiverVoices are paid (and tipped) by Mathias. They then explore the delights of the Sun Dome. Xingi insists on doing the Temple tour (twice).
After Xingi has yet another visit to the Sun Dome (in time for the Dawn celebrations) the RiverVoices travel to Harpoon where they are met by the boatsman sent from the Temple (Thomas) and a large crowd of well wishing River Folk. A feast is orgnaised with the RiverVoices as the guests of honor.
Setting off from Harpoon the boat heads rapidly south into the New Bog and turns off to the Pool of Kinope shrine where the RiverVoices meet up with BrightEye and spend the night. BrightEye is happy to see that at least one of the RiverVoices has decided to become a member of ZolaFel?. He also tells them that he can forsee the need to shovels in their future.
