The RiverVoices leave BrightEye and the Pool of Kinope and continue south. The next few days are uneventful.
The RiverVoices arrive at the delta at the port city of Corflu. They are met by a large audience of River folk who are very pleased to see them. Amongst them is Reverend Sa'ar. Another feast is held and the locals are please by the fact that the RiverVoices still carry their gifts. Inquiries are made for a guide and Reverend Sa'ar organises for Grandad to guide them into the delta.
The RiverVoices are roused by a knock on the door of their sleeping hut. They are visited by Lord Atraxis, a Lunar Yanafal Tarnils Rune Lord with several guards. In inquires after their purpose in the area. Ardv gets upset about some of the comments Atraxis makes though both sides keep to verbal sparing.
After breakfast, they RiverVoices head of with their newtling, Thomas the boatman and Grandad in Grandads boat. Trying to get some extra speed up to avoid being followed all try to help with rowing. Unfortunately due to a huge screw up, several oars are lost overboard and have to be recovered. Grandad is unimpressed in the extreme and makes his displeasure felt over the next few days.
The RiverVoices travel west into the delta and start searching for the post that marks the temple.
The Ironwood pole is discovered on a mudflat early in the morning and so verious methods are used to find the temple without much success. Eventually the RiverVoices start to dig and begin the excavation of a deep hole with engineering advice from Ardv.
After several hours of digging they are disturbed by a group of Baboons who ask them waht they are doing digging up land in their terratory. After bargening with them, the Baboons are persuaded to do the digging in exchange for a number of metal daggers.
After several hours of digging, a patch of blue/grey stone is uncovered. Most of the day is spend excavating more of the soil covering the stone. this is at the level of the water table.
An edge to the blue/grey stone is found and eventually so is a door. Most of the digging has tom be done by the RiverVoices as it is underwater and the Baboons do not want to dig there. they continue to widen the hole and support the other digging efforts.
The door is fully uncovered by the end of the day. Multiple ropes are then Glued to the door and it is eventually pulled open. Initial peeks into the temple reveal a large flooded chamber with walls covered in murals.
