Varlak then climbed the shaft up to a ledge. The ledge was a short tunnel leading to a room. in the room could be a seen a pile of boxes and also a single armored figure. There was also a smell of decay. The figure didnt move whilst Varlak was in the tunnel.
After discussion, they decided to retreat for the day, covering their tracks as they went, returning to the Peoples gate. This time, when they were searched, the Lunar officer cast a detect magic on their possessions.
Upon entering the city, the party split up. Ardv to the pub, GarrickOpenhand?, RurikLondro and Varlak to the baths and the rest home. Separately, Ardv and then GarrickOpenhand?, RurikLondro and Varlak are approached by the cloaked figure who offers to double the money offered for the information and the item. Each time the adventurers deny all knowledge (except for RurikLondro who doesnt answer the question). Each time, he is also accompanied by at least 2 others (who take up positions behind the adventurers in a threatening manor).
Before heading home for the night GarrickOpenhand? visits the Air Gods temple and asks one of the initiates to get a message to ScholarJennings about the interest of another party.
The group retire to their accomodation for the night
Deciding that they best not go straigh to the tunnels again, the party decide to visit the RealCity. Once inside, they visit WerricksStore? and meet WerrickTheTrader?, a man who appears ancient and whose shop has a multitude of things including iron weapons, crystals and many maps.
RurikLondro purchases a map of the BlindKingsHill area and also asks WerrickTheTrader? not to tell anyone about his purchase
