The party decide to take their new toy home with them and return in the boat to a heros welcome at the fishing village. A great feast is organised and the party are given gifts of bowls (all newtlings should always bring their own powl to a feast), Newtling style river harnesses, food, some weapons are also provided cheaply. Reverend Sa'ar also gives them a pouch with information for the temple in Pavis about the Gorps (he invites the party to read it as well) along with a Resurect matrix which is a cult item, asking that the party return it to the cult in Pavis after completing their tasks. He also gives them personal letters of introduction to any Zola fel worshippers that they might encounter. He has also send messengers upstream to spread word of their comming.

Later that day, they set off with Grandad and leave behind a large crowd of well wishers. rowing for half a day they overnight at a small newtling village where they are again treated to a feast and retell their tales to the locals.

Godday, Movement week, Sea Season, 1617

An uneventful day as they procede to Lokazzi. Again they are feasted and tell their tales to the locals

Freezeday, Illusion week, Sea Season, 1617

The boat stes out for Easy Ford. During the journey some movement is spotted off to one side. The Party perpare for a fight but find out it is a young boy (Greyreed) and his friend Moonsilver the giant otter. Moonsilvers den has been taken over by a Gorp and Greyreed begs the RiverVoices to aid his friend.

The party is taken to the site of the den. After some debate Varlack goes into the den through the water entrance. He is about the only person who can squeeze through the gaps. He finds the Gorp and disrupts it, eventually getting it to chase him outside where it is quickly destroyed.

Moonsilver is very happy and (through Greyreed in a Lasie type explanation) tells the party they can take any one item from his treasure. They decide to take a small magic marble token on a lanyard. They then haggle for the crystal and manage to persuade Moonsilver to take a number of light stones for his den in return.

Greyreed begs them to come to their village for the night where again the tell their story and show the Stigmata
