Ref: HeroWars - BRIDEQUEST ACT III: The Plains of Prax

Elmal boils a fiery blood red as it sinks closer to the western horizon. Sunset is so close, and the stead still so distant! You're going to miss the ceremony, and any hope of winning Vastos' fair Anistra.

Bloodied and bruised, you urge your tired mounts onward. The ground beneath is rocky and treacherous. Behind you, the troupe of antelope lancers are once again drawing closer.

Two of the troop swing wide to pace you on your western flank. They appear to be irregular scouts. And they are drawing heavy bows as they swing in closer...

• Korlen charges for the troup in hope of confusing them or making them run off so that Vastos as continue. Two of them leave but this might be to get further assistance or warn that they have been spotted. There are some magics cast and a darknes come down over Korlen. He slips off his horse ...

• Haloric spots that Korlen is in trouble and then charges as well. He is greated by two of them and there is an exchange of blows, Haloric is hit but continues to fight ...

• Two more charge at Vastos, he badly dodges ...

• Then there is a flash back ...

EARLIER THAT DAY, IN PAVIS ...

• At the meet with Astria(?) Vastos findout from a Pelorani(?) Guard that:

1. The C's guards are on his side
2. that the family have moved outside the city to there farm for the marrage rite (we think)

• Korlen flurts with a young lady and get's a soldiers' discount.

• Hal finds new friends in the city.

• The group find that Dart is party to a riot with the lunar guards, it seams the the boy has been involved in 'bucketing' Paris. Vastos some how gets him out of it.

A SHORT TIME LATER: KIRST'S HOUSE

• This is some discussion of the situation, Kirst thinks that Paris will not take it well and that the Lunars will be pissed.

• The group collect there stuff and setoff. Kirst is worried that the group will not make it and that the lunars are all up.

SUNSET: WEISS CUT

• Back at the combat:

1. Hal is surrounded by redcloaked antelope riders
2. Korlen is standing around in combat with 'ghosts'
3. Vastos is on the floor

• Haloric does his up most to fight all the lunars and distract them so that Vastos can recover and escape. But he is about to be entraped when he makes a break for it. All the riders chase after him, he then heads to Korlen. Korlen to Haloric looks un-molested by Lunars so should be able to turn the tide.

• Vastos gets up, see some black and white figures and moves towards them.

• The sun is about to set and Haloric calls on the power of Yelm and bounces the last raase of the sun in the eyes of the lunars off his spear tip. Korlen summones the power of Humact and both charge the lunars. The lunars moral breaks and the run.

The Challenge

• The group get to the other (the wedding party) and find that Paris is also there he has asked for Anistra hand.

• Paris is insulting to the group, we call him am honour thief.

• Vastos claims he has right to challenge for Anistra hand. After some discussion it is agree.
