Mimasaka Province

The south of Honshu Island is called the [Chūgoku region]

Land locked [Mimasaka Province] is now part of modern [Okayama Prefecture].

The Mimasaka Provence is run by the Koyboshi Clan from Okayama City in Bizen.

Most of the PC will only know the few hexs around Tega village itself. But will have heard of the larger places and know which road to take to get there, even if they have never been there.

Tega to Okayama is 5 to 15 days depending on what you are carrying and how fast you want to travel. Tega to Tonago is 3 to 9 days or so.

Most of Mimasaka is south of the mountains and has mild climate. The land north of the mountains can be very cold and wet.

The area around Okayama is directly controlled by KoyboshiTide Daimyo of the KoyboshiClan. North of the mountains is controlled by his brother KoyboshiNimanzi. The rest of the land is controlled by vassals or allied clans. The mountains themselves are under control of several Ji-Zamirai families.
