Meanwhile while this was happening DawnLafite has been kidnapped, From the bug in Dawn's room they know when the kidnap happed and that it was carried out with a certain amount of force. A demand issued that the current regime must stand down in favor of the rebels, in 24 hours, or Dawn will be killed. The party assume that Dawn has been kidnapped by the rebels, so after a lengthy discussion about the merits of killing and destruction, the party head of to discus trading for DawnLafite, as she seems to be only non dead end, that might give them a lead as to the location of DoctorH.
The party travel to Province A to try to open negotiations. They are met by the Provincial Governor Foster Adams, and NirNirsson goes off to negotiate. Things do not get off to a good start, as Nir insists that he must have active comms link so he can relay the negotiations, Foster takes this badly and sends him away, saying next time they should come with some who can negotiate with out being prompted by who knows who or what.
The party then leave Province A and travel to Province B where they are met by Governor Frank Day, this time Nir takes a more relaxed position, but Joseph does explain as Nir goes of to negotiate that if he does not return in half an hour, violence will ensue. Nir has a calm conversation with Frank where the rebels claim that they have not kidnapped Dawn. Nir then tries to buy there services for 100 guns to locate DoctorH or find evidence that he is dead, Frank declines the offer as he thinks there is no evidence either way, and he would not expose his agents for a pointless task. Nir then negotiates a 400 gun deal to find out who has kidnapped Dawn, with a further 100 guns if a location can be found as well. There is also a further bonus of between 200 and 500 guns if Dawn can be delivered to Nir, the amount has not yet been fixed and will be negotiated once matter move on a bit more.
While waiting for the rebels to locate Dawn the party set Salvador Jones to contacting his old friend to se if he can find out any information about the kidnapping, he returns to report that rebels appear to be split into 3 factions
The three faction seem to have joined force at this moment to overthrow the current regime, but the professor thinks that once the overthrow has occurred the factions will split once again.
Shortly after this, the rebels inform you that Dawn is being held by a group called The Cabal of 12, which is believed to be made up of a group 12 of the original 350, and the rebels, are checking further. The party using the resources of the ship, correlate links between member of the original 350 to try to narrow down the suspects, and they come up with a list of 55, of which 7 are dead, leaving 48 who seem to be spread evenly over 11 scientific disciplines.
