Events

The party had responded to a advert in the Jungle Drums, asking for stout souls to Escort a urgent messenger into the Jungle.

The party went to see Osborn Hilltopple of 'Short and Long Foot Express Deliveries', who said he would pay them `100N each to Escort 'Tudor Smallfoot', into the jungle to deliver a urgent packages to 'Quislorik'.

The party then set of North of New Gallo, after a brief discussion on the far side of the river, the party began to hack there way though the jungle. After about a several Mile of jungle they came Calmert encounters a group of Giant Ants, the party decide to circle around the Ants, which they do with out much problem, the party then continues its passage northward, when Silverbark blunder into a party of Hobgoblins that appear to be waiting in ambush across there path, a brief and bloody fight occurred, and the Hobgoblins where defeated, but the party took some damage.

About 1 Mile after this they cam to large tent at the top of a cliff overlooking the sea. The tend is over 20' tall, and since the party was last here, a number of rocks have been hacked out of the cliff behind the tend. The party approach 'Quislorik' and tell him they have urgent message for him, he ushers the group into the tent, and offers them some refreshment, while he reads the message, Silverbark Decline, and goes and gets some fresh water from outside, while 'Klick' dives in with gusto. 'Quislorik' opens the Message case takes out a number of potion vials, and adds them to his potion belt, he then takes out the message and reads it. He then tells the party that they must return to New Christina, as quickly as possible, He picks up his two big swords, straps them on, and the leaves with the party. As the two halflings, would slow the group down he carries them, and the rest of the party run to keep up with him, as he trots off into the Jungle, the Halflings have a fairly rough journey back to New Christina, being hit be trees, and getting motion sick. Once the party is near the Gates of New Christina, he lets the Halflings down, and tells them to take him to the 'Dwarfs Guild'.

At the gates the party are questioned about the Large man with them, but manage to convince the guards that 'Quislorik' is friendly. Once in side Calmert rushes off to Osborn's office, to tell him that 'Quislorik' is going to the Dwarfs Guild.

The party get to the guild, just as Calmert also get there to tell them that 'Osborn' is in the guild. As the group approach the Entrance to the Guild, there heavily armoured dwarfs exit and stand in front of the door, and glare at 'Quislorik' with total hatred in there eyes. The party have a brief discursion and convince the dwarfs, to send for some one in authority, to allow them entrance as 'Quislorik' had been summoned by the Governor, after server minutes, they agree to let 'Quislorik' in. 'Quislorik' insist the party accompany him, as he may need witnesses, as he does not trust Dwarfs.

The Dwarfs do there level best to get the party totally lost, while leading them deeper and deeper into the Guild, eventually the party enter into a corridor that does not appear to be dwarven construction, and at the end are a pair of dull gray metal doors, the party are led upto the door, and thought into large room beyond. In this room there are a number of dwarves attempting to chisel some gold runes out of the floor with out much success. At the far end of the room the wall appears to be made of the same dull gray metal, and has the same pattern of runes as the floor. 'Quislorik' has been summoned here, as he may be able to read the runes.

After walking round the circle of runes, has comments that this is very bad, and wished it was not so, when pressed he says the runes say. 'Gateway to the Empire, Lords may enter freely'. After some debate the party decide that a toll must be paid if they wish to enter. 'Klick' takes his pearl and touches it to the metal wall. His disappears, and a line appears on the wall which then slides apart, revealing a triangular room. 'Calmert' enters the rooms while everybody else falls over them selfs, to either enter or stop others entering. Nothing happens.

'Calmert' search the room, while the other try to talk him into leaving the room, when suddenly there is a movement of the walls of the room, and the next thing the party know is, the room is empty. 'Klink' then enters the room, and tries pushing on one wall, but nothing happens he then pushes on the other wall, which revolves, moving him into a small sealed room, he then push the wall again, he can now see into a very large building, where he see's 'Calmert', he then continues the rotation until he ends up back where he started. The whole party follow him through. The party are now in a large builder about the size of 'Waterloo' station, but where the ceiling has fallen in, so the ground is covered in ruble.

The party start to explore the building finding a number of exits from the building, each exit has the image of a 'Yellow Dragon' over it. The party then pick a exit and go out into the street beyond, they street is full of ruble, as the city seems to have be destroyed, as they are standing looking about in wonder, one of the party is shot with a arrow, from high up on the building opposite, the party scatter, looking for cover. 'Filthy' goes into the building where the archers are, and with difficulty starts to climb, 'Rhyad' attempts to shot at the archers, when the opportunity presents its self. Eventually 'Filthy' get into combat with the archers, and after a vicious fight, the archers are killed, the party recover 18 Arrows from the archers, which are very light, and very strong. They also recover some very strange shaped metal clubs, and 4 small pieces of a strange flexible material, with a small piece of gold embedded in it.
