The squad spent some time deciding if there was any way they could open / crack the small dome in the small lake. Of if they should just return back to the landing craft and wait for recovery.

The squad decide to try and shoot the dome, with the rocket launcher from the surface, but the rocket detonated shortly after entering the water.

Silverbark decided to try and summon a Octopus, and see if it could move break the dome. The Octopus had 3 rounds of attacks on the dome. The squad then when down to the done to see what effects the octopus had had. It had scratched the dome a bit, Filthy picked up a large rock and try to bash the dome open, but only managed to scratch it a little. The squad then decide to return to the surface, and reconsider their options, but on the way back to the edge of the lake, Filthy out of frustration, took the Rocket launcher, and fire at the dome, the rocket did hit and shatter the dome, but unfortunately, at the same time, the pressures produced in the rocket launcher being used under water, caused the rocket launcher to explode, Filthy took a few light hits, from the explosion.

The squad then approached the shattered dome, to have a look inside. they saw that it opened into a chamber about 3 meters deep. As they were looking they noticed that the edges of the shattered dome where reforming. So they took a quick decision, and entered the chamber. At the bottom of the chamber they found a section of the wall was clear, and seemed to lead to a long corridor slopping gently down. Once the dome was rebuilt, the water was drained out of the room, and then the clear wall disappeared.

The squad having very little options, decide to follow the corridor. After about 500 Meters, they noticed that floor was starting to get covered in a thick cold mist. Silverback attempted to disbelieve it, but it was still there. The squad decide to continue anyway, and the mist go deeper and deeper, they stoped again when the mist was chest high, and yet again Silverbark attempted to disbelieve it, and he was still convinced it was there.

So the decided to follow the left hand wall, into the mist, after about 100 Meters into the mist, the members of the squad realized that they could no longer hear each other. So Silverbak who was in the lead decide to stop and wait for the next squad member to walk into him, but no one did, so he decide to reverse his path, and see if he could find them. As he walked back the way he had come, the mist began to dissipate, as the mist finally disappeared, Silverbak found him facing a blank wall at the end of the passage, and no sign of the other members of his team. He tried to use the radio, to contact them but there was no response. He then started back down the tunnel (More details after the others have been here :).

Calmert basically had the same experience, did thing slightly differently, but ended up in the same state, in a corridor by himself (More details after the others have been here :).
