Current Status

To recap

a) The Koyboshi Blue army had streamed through the pass and your village of [Tegamura] into area around [Hokuya]. [Hokuya] is where the Blue Army is camped at the home of the Green Army and the residence of Milko, and her uncle.

b) The Party have just sorted out the problem of the scruffy Kami that had taken up residence in the new Shrine and have been attempting to mollify the main Kami (Kiyoumetani-Sama).

c) The Onmyoji (Wizard) Kanetaka-san has invited the party to come and meet at his order at there HQ to have a discussion of the situation.

What is happening

a) The Blue Army and the Green plus Red Armies have a battle. It is reported that the Blue Army is just defeated and the rebels return home to [Hokuya].

b) Taking advantage of the weakening of the Koybushi the Fijcanzu Clan attack.

c) Just outside Hokuya the Fijcanzu are massively defeated when Lord Koyboshi Tibe (yes him that is dead, Milko's father) arrived on the battle field with the Koyboshi Yellow army. Also they are surrounded by the Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Armies of the Koyboshi. Komadori discovers that the earlier battle had been faked.

d) After the battle Lord Koyboshi is found dead. There are many rumors but assassination seam most believed. There is even talk of Baksensi Todo is behind it.

e) The Red and Yellow armies secure the victory over the Fijcanzu land.

f) The Blue and Yellow army return back over the Mountains talking Baksensi Todo with them. The Red and Green say behind to hold the new land. There will be a meeting of the clan heads to ratify Todo-sama as the new head of the Koyboshi.

g) Milko and her uncle Noyboshi Nimanzi do not go to the meeting and they rebuild the barricades along the path. It is openly heard that Nimanzi blames Todo for his brothers death and will not allow Milko to marry him.

Open questions

a) What are the plans of the party now?

b) Whom killed Lord Koyboshi?

c) Was Koyboshi Milko really running away from Bakesensi Todo? Did she know of her fathers faked death?

Notes

a) I was going to run the fake battle for Howard's character (DaiginjoshuChowei) but it would be a bit boring to do without him hence you only get second hand battle reports. When Howard returns I will run some of the battle for him if he wants.

b) It is now 1 week later at the start of the next session and the stalemate between Red and Blue is back in place including the small troups Red and Blue Samurai that have taken up residence in the village. The yamabushi, sohei and Buddist temple is starting to look like they are here for the long hall.
