Chapter 12: Dark tunnels, black death

In the gravel the road winds,

In the stone the head binds.

The leaf falls, the bud bloms,

The shadow blights, its bread dooms.

Nothing Happened Here

• The two groups met up in the WayGate? room. Nothing came out of TheWay?.

• There is some talk about the EyeOfTheWorld? and TheHorn?. UzulfTzun decides that there is more to the Pillar and they all go back. (Uzulf wonders if the Eye and the Horn are the same thing and if the Pillar is it, but says nothing.)

The Pillar

• UzulfTzun spends a long time studying and thinking about the stone pillar. After a while he remebers that there are two sets of marks one at the top and one at the bottom. One needs to use one of each.

• OliviaAnStein, for reasons best known to her, ddecides to climb on the top of the stone pillar. There she finds on of the marks.

• UzulfTzun then, following a hunch, manages to tips the column over. On the bottom is another mark.

• The group spend some time attempting to figure out what to do with the marks and all fail.

• The leader of the Aiel tells the group that there is another pillar like this one back where they come from and that there is a prophecy, but that this is in a valley that is forbidden to all but Aiel.

• The group think that the Eye is in fact a group of these pillars and that to blind them causes their destruction.

A Stab in the back

• Suddenly Trollacs attack the group with a Darkman. There is a struggle but they are defeated with some of the Aiel killed.

• JacAlNorey takes a blow from the Darkman's blade and is poisoned, he will die if something is not done quickly. OliviaAnStein calls on the OnePower?, weakens herself and saves him.

A long walk, food and a Stone guarden

• The group set of with the Aiel Hunters to contine to look for the eye.

• After a while the party consider that they will run out of food and water and suggest that they all return back to the stead for supplies. The Aeil will not, they are suididal in their search. It is agreed that the party will continue with them for one more day then we will have to return for food. The Aiel will continue there search whatever we do.

• The group stumbles on a large chamber of a 'stoneified' guarden and part of a palace. For some strange reason there is a working fountain in the middle of it. The group investigate it's many weirdnesses for a while.
