Leaving the fishing village the party heads to Chomoro. Here they are stopped by a Sun Domer patrol and fully inspected. They are taxed a small amount. The Leiutenent also spots the golden shield buckle that they got from the Gaint Otter. He translates the inscription and tells the party that it belongs to the bodyguard of Lady Vega Goldbreath. Xingi undertakes to return it to her.
The party travels north.
Uneventful travels. At the end of Clayday, they reach the tributary which leads to the Shrine of Kinope. The Shrine is a horse shoe shaped island with a circle of tall trees on the rim of the island. At its center is the magic pool which heals the sick and injured. There is a small jetty to which Grandad ties the boat. There are several others here, most of which have acid burns from gorp attacks
