Part 7 - The Miko Dance

: [Tokimasa] spends some time in [Akaihaie (Red Leaves Inn)] watching what is going on. He notices that there are three possible spies in the Inn. A young tea serving girl, a rough and dirty thug and a oldish smartly dressed Samurai.

: When [Komadori] lets slip that an important lady will be joining [Daiginjoshu Chowei] in [The Politics of Noise] the serving lady leaves to collect some tea. [Tokimasa] later follows her to a merchants.

: Later that day the Thug leaves and goes to the Buddhist temple. The oldish Samurai talks to [Tokimasa] and asks questions about where he came from and suggests Tokimasa might have information he is willing to buy.

: [Chowei] is siting the the Koyboshi jail when a new inmate attacks him. [Chowei] wins and allows his clothes to be stolen. The thug seems to know [Chowei] and that Milko was being smuggled into [Hokuya (the castle town)]. [Chowei] figures out that the thug is in fact a samurai from a clan nearer the coast.

: [Komadori] works to get a letter from Milko to her uncle. Spending lots of time running up and down the hill to the shrine to check on the girls are doing ok . But eventually gets a message in via the sorcerer. In the meantime he continues to discuss with the Inn keeper the dire consequences of ['the Samauri' (Chowei)] returning.

: [Miharu], [Abe] and [Milko] dressed as Miko are escorted into the KoyboshiClan's castle. [Miharu] is given a large gift of monies to pass on to the Shinto Shrine. She and the Geisho Madam take it back to the Shrine.

: Charaters: [Miharu], [Fu Do Komadori], [Daiginjoshu Chowei], [Yuki Ishiro Tokimasa]

: The group get together in a private room to discuss the events.
: Kanitaki tells the group the meing of the runes on the torii gate "... Eight Sparrows Begin ..." may be?
: [Fu Do Komadori] and [Daiginjoshu Chowei] remember that they have seen runes like this before on the tomb that they visited in the Autumn and that they have some jars with the runes on. They get one and Kanikata translates it as a lotion that disguises your face.
: [Daiginjoshu Chowei] is told that he will be asked to try out to become a member of the KoyboshiClan.
