Part 17 - Separate Paths 1

Location: [Tegamura (Characters' Home Village)], terraced valley village of bakemono, katsuyama town

Scene One - Sword and Gems

Characters: [Komadori]
Location: terraced valley village of Bakemono

[Komadori] gets some swords to trade from his father and then takes them to the terraced valley village of Bakemono. he forgets to take light and gets lost in the cave. After a bath they happy buy them from him for gems and he makes a large profit.

He stays the night in one of the spare huts and is joined by a Bakemono Lady, which stops him investigating the village further.

Scene Two - Music and Chat

Characters: [Tokimasa]
Location: Katsuyama town

[Tokimasa] gets a plan of the castle in Katsuyama town and help with the best way to the heron room. He sneaks part the palasade that the blue army has build using small paths and streams.

When in the town he sees what intelligence he can collect from a drunk ashugaro - not much more that he knew.

He wait until dark and then sneaks to the heron room window (see earlier adventure).

He wakes up on the roof of the castle.

Scene Three - Wood and Kami

Characters: [Miharu]
Location: [Tegamura]

There is a new budhist priest in the village and he is preaching to a crowd. [Miharu] talks to him and find him more genuin that the priests she met in Hokyu town.

[Miharu] finds that her father and the new shinto priest are still under a mushroom drug haze so she starts the shrine building project herself. She enfusises the village with the importance of the new shrine and all the villagers get behind the building process. They help the carpenters carry the wood to the top of the kami hill. She does a ritual to find the best spot which fails. So the villagers have a party. This must have improved the kami's, mood as after the party they kami helps to pick the spot. After the wood is blessed then the carpenters start there work.
