Vengeance Of Charun

The Etruscan demon of death who torments the souls of the deceased in the underworld. He also guards the entrance to the underworld. He is similar to the Greek Charon. Charun is portrayed with the nose of a vulture, pointed ears and is usually winged. His attribute is the hammer, with which he finished off his victims.

(Does this mean that we must kill then enemy with a Hammer?)

Definition: Charun is an Etruscan god often shown carrying a hammer. Charun is probably related to Charon, the ferryman of Greek mythology who takes the dead across the River Styx. Charun torments the dead and guards the Underworld. In the Christian era, attributes of Charun appeared in depictions of demons. Charun probably served as the model for Renaissance artist Giotto's Satan and Judas.
