Run Grubby Run

: Part of this adventure is taken from [Dungeon] xx and this write up will contain spoilers, if your referee is likely to run adventures from Dungeon please read no further.

: The pair drag GrubbyQuickeyes back to FoglyOnSea and arrive ther just after dawn. They wait outside in the morning fog until the guard eventually opens the gate for them.

: GrubbyQuickeyes is put in metal shackles by the blacksmith when the party pursade the mayor not to put him with the Orks.

: The mayor tells the party that he need to put GrubbyQuickeyes on trial as he is a citizen of the dukedom. He tells them to go and get JusticeTarbis.

: GeveryChambertain tells the town that GrubbyQuickeyes did not have any of their valuables on him when caught. MrYoung seeing the problem with this unforcanty? lie takes in upon himself to arrange GrubbyQuickeyes' freedom before he can tell JusticeTarbis the truth about the 151pp + 10 ring etc.

: GrubbyQuickeyes tells MrYoung that the Orks followed DireHandAsckep and and he is at the Tempest. MrYoung steals the blacksmiths file and passes it to GrubbyQuickeyes (GrubbyQuickeyes tells MrYoung details of the thieves guild in LastBeurg, TheTwelveFeetGang)

: That night GrubbyQuickeyes escapes, MrYoung leaves a small purse of money (1pp, 11gp, 4cp + one gold ring) to be found in the morning.

: Next day JusticeTarbis arrives with 5 guards, a platform is setup and the Orks are tried. They are offered 'servitude' or 'death'. They state that they are DireHandAsckep servants and they will not kneel before the duke. (one is killed) the rest take in chains.

: The JusticeTarbis talks to the group and asks about the halfling and if they know about the DireLord. They say that GrubbyQuickeyes talked about some bandits that the Orks worked for. He asks they to find out more, for a reward. They agree.

: GeveryChambertain has heard that there was a TempestTemple to the east of FoglyOnSea that was destroyed some hundred years past.

: The pair plus the dog set off along the road to LastBeurg (EndlessStreet) which goes between NewMyrrForest and MyrrWood. AFter two days they find an old track that goes south towards where they think the temple should be. It is strangly heavly used. They travel for most of the day and arrive at a shear sided valley. There are remains of a structure in the center with the ends of bridges on each side of the valley. The bottom is covered in mist.

: MrYoung climbs down to the valley floor and is attacked by a Shamlying Mound. An ancient lady (a druidess?) turns up and stops the monster and appologies. She tells the pair that there have been Orks here and that see placed the monster to protect herself and get rid ofthem. They where camped near the ruin. GeveryChambertain asks the lady to look after his dog.

: The find a massive stone head on it side (the top of the Tempest Statue that was the temple and the center pillor of the bridge), they investigate the head and a Gigantic Centipead comes out just as GeveryChambertain has climbed inside the eye. They kill it but GeveryChambertain is hurt badly so they return to FoglyOnSea.
