Hollow Threats

This adventure is taken from [Dungeon] 96 and this write up will contain spoilers, if your referee is likely to run adventures from Dungeon please read no further.

Story

The group are travelling to FoglyOnSea on the coast of OldGallo, in the hope of finding work and adventure.

As they arrive at FoglyOnSea there are citizens leaving the fishing town. It seams that a monster is attacking the area and they are getting out very quickly.

The party are encouraged to stay by the Gnomish MayorPondulous.

They then encamp at the largest Pub where the find a halfling merchant (GrubbyQuickeyes) telling the tail of the monster and how he only just escaped from a village to the north. The merchant seems to be selling his goods to anyone for almost any cost.

The next morning the party are awoken by the alarming beening raised by the Merchant. The towns folk run for there lives when they see a monstrous shape coming though the morning fog.

The party hide in the fog and wait for the dragon turtle to get closer to shore where it becomes apparent then it is only the shell of the creature that is being sculled by a family of Orks. There is a combat in which AelfricSmithson is hurt but all the Orks are either killed or knocked out.

The town is searched for the GrubbyQuickeyes that the party thinks is in allegiance with the Orks. No sign is found of him but several buildings have been pillaged for there small valuables.

The shell-boat is raided by the party.
