Session 14 - Let Sleeping Orcs Smell

: Part of this adventure is taken from [Dungeon] xx and this write up will contain spoilers, if your referee is likely to run adventures from Dungeon please read no further.

: The group disguis there boat and float down stream towards the castle in the thunderstorm.

: A large Aligator like creature bumps into there boat and start to attack them. GeveryChambertain distracts it with a hunk of meat and though it towards a large clump of grass. The Swampgator follows.

: Unforcantly the clump of grass was imhabited by 3 Willo the Wisps. The first one attacks the Swampgator. The other two go after the party. GeveryChambertain attachs another Swampgator and the second Willo the Wisp attacks it. The third one starts to talk to the party and perswad them to stop. The party do not fall for it and GeveryChambertain 'flames' his cleaver and kills the creature. There is a flash of light around thewillo the wisp and the party hold that the guards in the castle see nothing.

: They get to the rock of the castle wall without being hit my the lightning or seaming to have alearted the castle guards.

: MrYoung and ReinarTheFaceless scale the outside wall easly whist AelfricSmithson and GeveryChambertain drink spider climbs and make slow progress. At the top MrYoung and ReinarTheFaceless find the orc guards as they expected huddled under the stone hut that covers the entrace to the roof guarden. MrYoung paralises one with a Ghoul Touch and the rest are stuned by the smell. One chases after MrYoung and the other starts to reach. MrYoung runs towards ReinarTheFaceless and his orc follows. Seeing ReinarTheFaceless the orc attacks. Both fight the orc and it is eventually paralised with another Ghoul Touch potion. The remaining orc recovers and runs for the alarm bell. MrYoun? thoughs an alchemical fire which makes the orc retirt. MrYoung then hassens himself and dispached the orc with aother alchemical fire.

: A serving girl (X) comes up with food for the three orcs, she is persward to leave the food and tell now one of what is going on.

: The group sneak downstairs and ReinarTheFaceless ploymophs into the serving girl (X), he does no get past the 2 hobgobin guards to the Dedicate Quarters. ReinarTheFaceless then disguises himself as the Intendent LinPin? and gets past the guards (there are confused because she is already inside). ReinarTheFaceless looks around find that there is a maze of coridors and a strange cat like monster with tenticals. He then returns to the doors and they are open. At that moment MrYoung attacks one with another Ghoul Touch potion and the other is slain by the rest. The chef in the kitchen starts to raise the alarm but is slain by GeveryChambertain.

: They find a Rush Monster is guarding the next level down. It eats GeveryChambertain cleaver and AelfricSmithson armour before it is slain. The group collect new armour from the killed orcs and chef. They also take a rush monster arm.

: Guarding the next level is a Chain Devil, MrYoung attempts to remove it's chains with the Rust Monster's arm, is effects it but slowly. The rest of the group learn that they can stack there powers and overcome the creatures presigious mystical defenses. It is kill but only just.
